Robert Thomas is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays as a center and is the alternate captain for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League (NHL). Native of Aurora, Ontario, he began his hockey career with the York Simcoe Express before joining the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights and later becoming a part of the Hamilton Bulldogs.
His major achievement came in 2016, when as a rookie, he led the Knights to a Memorial Cup victory and thereby garnered significant reception from peers and colleagues which resulted in him getting selected as the 20th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues.
