Roope Hintz is a Finnish hockey forward for the Dallas Stars, as of January 2025. He began his career with Ilves in Finland before joining HIFK. Hintz was drafted by the Stars in 2015 and signed an entry-level contract in 2017. He started in the AHL with the Texas Stars but made his NHL debut in 2018–19.

Hintz signed a three-year, $9.45 million extension after the Stars' playoff exit. He played through an injury in 2020–21 but still set career highs in goals, assists, and points. He scored his first NHL hat-trick and reached 30 goals in 65 games in the 2021-22 season. He then signed an eight-year, $67.6 million extension. In the 2023 playoffs, he recorded his first postseason hat-trick, becoming the first to do so in Dallas.
