Vladimir Andreyevich Tarasenko is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger playing with the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League, as of 2024. He was drafted in the first round (16th overall pick) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Before the NHL Tarasenko played in the Kontinental Hockey League during the 2008-2009 season with the Novosibirsk and later was traded to the SKA Saint Petersburg in 2012 but he decided to play in the NHL.

Tarasenko made his NHL debut for the 2012-2013 season, earning a spot in the NHL All-Star Games. He won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019 and was traded to the New York Rangers in February 2023. He joined the Ottawa Senators for the 2023-2024 season. The Senators traded Tarasenko to the Florida Panthers on 6 March 2024. On 3 July 2024, Tarasenko signed with the Detroit Red Wings as an unrestricted free agent.
