DiJonai Carrington Family

The 2024 Most Improved player, Dijonai Carrington, plays for the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA as of September 2024. She completed her high school basketball career at Horizon Christian Academy in San Diego, California, where she averaged 18.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. For her high school performance, she was named McDonald's All-American and a Jordan Brand Classic All-American. She played college basketball for two different universities, spending four years at Stanford (2016–2020) and one season at Baylor. During her time at Stanford, she contributed to the Cardinal's success, helping them win two Pac-12 Tournament championships in 2017 and 2019. In 2019, she was named to the All-Pac-12 Team by both the coaches and media.
