Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson is a Filipino-American basketball player currently playing as a combo guard with the Utah Jazz. Born in Tampa, Florida, to Mike Clarkson and Annette Tullao Davis, Clarkson attended Karen Wagner High School in San Antonio. His college career spanned two institutions: Tulsa from 2010 to 2012 and Missouri from 2013 to 2014.

In the 2014 NBA draft, Clarkson was selected in the second round with the 46th overall pick by the Washington Wizards, who swiftly traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night in exchange for cash considerations. From the moment he entered the league, he established himself as a prolific scorer, who can shoot from anywhere on the court. Throughout a nine-year career, Clarkson played with the Lakers, Cavaliers, and currently, the Jazz.

Clarkson is known for being an offensive star, with the ability to make tough shots. He can knock off the dribble and pull up shots at will and this makes him a threat on any given possession. He also tends to score on some acrobatic layups.

In addition to his NBA exploits, Clarkson has represented the Philippines on the national level. In the 2023 FIBA World Cup, he played five games for the Philippines, averaging an impressive 26.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 36 minutes of playing time.
