Terry Rozier Contract

Terry Rozier is a combo guard who currently plays for the Miami Heat. Known as "Scary Terry" for his clutch performances, Rozier earned this moniker inspired by a character from the “Rick and Morty” adult animated TV show.

Terry Rozier was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 16th overall pick in 2015 after two impressive seasons at Louisville University. Throughout four seasons with the Celtics, he developed as a versatile offensive guard who can play both point guard and shooting guard.

Rozier is known for his exceptional ball-handling, crafty dribble moves, and the finesse to finish acrobatically at the rim. He is a brilliant shooter who can knock down shots off the dribble. Scary Terry is particularly beloved by NBA fans due to his ability to display some flashy streetball type of dribble combos.

In the 2020 offseason, Rozier was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in a deal that sent Kemba Walker to the Celtics. Since joining the Hornets, Rozier became a key part of the Charlotte backcourt alongside LaMelo Ball, contributing to an exciting young team. However, the young team always struggled to make playoffs.

In the 2022/23 season, Rozier averaged an impressive 21.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists for the Hornets. On January 24th, 2024, Rozier was traded to the Miami Heat in exchange for Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first-round pick.
