Mark Stone is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who is currently serving as the captain of the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League. He was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 6th round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. During the 2014-2015 NHL season, Stone was placed among the top NHL scoring rookies, contributing 64 points. His stellar contribution earned him the nomination for the Calder Memorial Trophy.

He started his hockey career with the Winnipeg Thrashers in Manitoba Midget ÁAA'Hockey League. Stone won the Telus Cup in 2008 with them as the top scorer and transitioned to the major junior level with the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League. He played four seasons in the WHL and his highest scoring season was the 2011-12 season where he scored 41 goals and 123 points with the Wheat Kings.
