Tyler Bertuzzi currently serves as a forward for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League (NHL) as of 2024. Bertuzzi was picked as the 58th overall pick in the draft and was called to the NHL in 2016 after playing with their AHL affiliate team Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League (AHL). However, Bertuzzi kept bouncing between the NHL and AHL.

In the 2016-2017 season, he stood out for the Griffins during their Calder Cup Victory. He was named for the Jack A. Butterfield Award as the Most Valuable Player of the season. After his incredible season in the AHL, he also showcased his talent in the NHL and recorded his first goal in 2018. Tyle then quickly earned a spot on the NHL Second Star of the Week during the 2018-2019 season. Bertuzzi was a notable talent in the 2022-2023 season and he was traded to the Boston Bruins in 2023. He was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the summer of 2023 and in 2024 he joined the Chicago Blackhawks.
