Jake Allen Guentzel is an ice hockey player serving as the left winger for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round during the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He clinched the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2017. Jake Guentzel attended Hill-Murray School, where he competed in varsity hockey for two years. He also finished as the runner-up in the 2012 MN State Hockey Tournament held in Maplewood, Minnesota. Following his high school career, he committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
