Tyler Johnson is an American ice hockey player, playing for the Boston Bruins as a center (as of Jan 2025). He won the Stanley Cup championship for two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021, with the Tampa Bay Lightning before joining the Black Hawks in 2021. Johnson started his professional junior hockey with the Spokane Jr. Chiefs in 14U AA. In 2007, with the Spokane Chiefs, he played 69 regular games and scored 13 goals and 22 assists, helping the Spokane Chiefs secure the Ed Chynoweth Cup.

Johnson started his NHL journey by signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2011. He played the first two seasons with the Lightning's AHL affiliate team, Norfolk Admirals. In his NHL rookie season in 2013-2014, he finished with 24 goals and 26 assists. He was nominated for the Calder Memorial Trophy that season. In 2017, he signed a seven-year contract extension with the Lightning for $35 million. With the Lightning, Johnson won two Stanley Cups, in 2020 and 2021. In 2021, he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks.
