Josh Allen, a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, was selected at the 2018 NFL Draft as the seventh overall pick. Allen, a native of Firebaugh, California, finished his secondary education at Firebaugh High School. However, after not receiving a single scholarship offer from any FBS or FCS program, Allen committed to Reedley College but transferred to the University of Wyoming a year later. After entering the NFL in 2018, Allen was given the reigns of the Bills franchise since the second week of his rookie season. He finished the year with a 5-6 record while passing for over 2k yards. After taking the Bills to the postseason in the following year, Allen had a breakout year in 2020, where for the first time he passed for over 4k yards (4,544 to be exact) and threw for 37 passing touchdowns (both career-high).
