About NFL Week 13 Schedule 2024-25
Game on Thursday, November 28
Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers
Thursday Night Football between two classic franchises in Dolphins and the Packers could be a good way for both playoff contenders to measure where they stand at the moment compared to others. The Packers would like to continue the momentum from last year's successful season where they transitioned going from Rodgers to Love as smoothly as one team could dream of.
On the other hand, the Dolphins are coming off a bittersweet season where they made it into the postseason second year in a row but failed to get past the wildcard round again. The one factor that could play a huge role in this matchup is how the southern team like the Dolphins adjust to Lambeau Field’s frigid cold.
Games on Sunday, December 1
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
The toughest division in football will once again come up with an exciting matchup in week 12 when the Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams will be facing each other for the first time in the season. Bengals DC Lou Anarumo would have a major work cut out for him as his defense would be going up against a revamped QB room of the Steelers with Arthur Smith calling plays on offense.
Zac Taylor’s team would be without their longtime OC Brian Callahan who took the head coaching duties in Music City. The Bengals also lost one major piece from their elite trio of wide receivers to free agency in Tyler Boyd. However, a fully healthy Joe Burrow would give them an edge in this rivalry game.
Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints
Both the Rams and the Saints would be aiming for the wildcard spot into late November as neither of them are favorites to win their respective division. This NFC showdown could have huge wildcard spot implications down the road if both teams finish with the same record. LA and New Orleans are coming with almost the same roster and coaching staff from last season.
However, the Saints would have an advantage coming into this game after a BYE week. That alone makes them a slight favorite in this game as both teams are somewhat even when it comes to roster talent. Nevertheless, the Rams would miss a future HOF Aaron Donald who retired back in March 2024.
San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills
This SNF matchup from the NFL week 13 schedule has two Super Bowl contenders battling each other. The Bills would be without their top two pass-catcher from last season. On the flip side, the 49ers would be bringing their whole band back together once again after losing two SBs in the last five years.
Brock Purdy and Kyle Shanahan would have to face a major obstacle going up against the Bills as they will have to face a rigid December Buffalo weather. On the other hand, the Bills have their own problems to deal with as their WR room is one of the weakest in the whole league after losing both Diggs and Gabe Davis.
