Walter Rouse played his college football for the Oklahoma Sooners and was the offensive tackle for his team. He initially started his college football career playing for the Stanford Cardinal and spent four seasons with them before transferring to Oklahoma to play his final year of college eligibility.
Rouse started his college football career with the Cardinal and in his true freshman season, Rouse played in 12 games while starting for 11. In 2021, Rouse started all 12 games for Stanford and in 2022, he started 10 games. During his time at Stanford, Rouse played 40 games while he started for 11. He was also named an honorable mention All-Pac 12 in 2022.
After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Rouse decided to initially transfer to Nebraska, however, he changed his decision to play for the Oklahoma Sooners. He would go on to start and play in 12 games for the Sooners before declaring for the 2024 NFL draft.
Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States, Rouse attended Sidwell Friends School and was a three-star recruit coming out of high school.
