Connor Brown is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger, playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL. Born on January 14, 1994, Brown started his Amateur career in the Ontario Hockey League with the Erie Otters in 2011 and played till 2014. Despite playing for a struggling team in his rookie season, he led the Otters in points and was named to the OHL's All-Rookie Team. In his sophomore season, Brown captained the team, playing alongside the future NHL star Connor McDavid. Brown earned the Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy and the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy for his stellar 128 points in 68 games. Brown was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the sixth round, 156th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his NHL career, he played with the Ottawa Senators, Washington Capitals, and now with the Oilers.
