
Jamie Benn is a Canadian ice hockey left winger who is serving as the captain of the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected as the 129th overall pick by the Stars in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Benn began his junior hockey career with the Peninsula Eagles Minor Hockey Association and the Peninsula Panthers in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL).
