Born on November 6, 1995, Sam Reinhart is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was chosen as the second overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He began his professional career by becoming the sixth youngest player to ever play for the organization. However, after recording a sole point after nine games, he was sent to Kootenay Ice. The following season, Reinhart was called back and appeared in 79 games for the Sabres. He continued to build upon his offensive totals, recording 47 and 50 points, respectively, in each of the following seasons before breaking out in the 2018-19 season, recording 65 points in 82 games.
