Notably, the Lightning selected him as the first overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Throughout his NHL career, Stamkos has achieved significant accolades, including two Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy wins as the NHL's leading goal-scorer (2010 and 2012) and two NHL second-team All-Star selections (2011, 2012). Moreover, he holds the distinction of being named to seven NHL All-Star Games and has earned the nickname "Stammer." Where does Steven Stamkos live?

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos recently purchased a waterfront mansion on Davis Islands at 74 Bahama Circle for $8.35 million in 2021.

The acquisition followed the sale of his previous Davis Islands estate for $16 million a month earlier. The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom property spans 5,665 square feet and sits on a canal with a new dock. Stamkos and his wife, Sandra, secured the home by approaching potential sellers directly after deciding to stay on Davis Islands.

Their realtor, Allan Mezrah, highlighted the challenges in finding available properties, emphasizing Stamkos' desire for privacy during house hunting. The house, built in 2017, features a rooftop lookout with views of Hillsborough Bay and downtown Tampa, two detached garages, and a substantial waterfront.

Steven Stamkos's Other Houses

Steven Stamkos sold his waterfront Davis Islands house at 78 Martinique Avenue for $16 million, per the Multiple Listing Service in 2021.

The property, purchased as vacant land by Stamkos and his wife, Sandra, in 2017 for $3.85 million, was completed in 2018. The house boasted six bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, and 8,516 square feet. The sale, brokered by Allan Mezrah of the Toni Everett Company, marked the third-highest sale in Hillsborough County for that year.

The buyers, John and Kathy Shields sought a newer home with open bay views and secured Stamkos' residence, which was not listed on the market. Stamkos delayed the sale until after the hockey season, ensuring a distraction-free period for the Lightning captain. The property featured waterfront views, a trophy room, and a location on Davis Islands, a sought-after area for high-profile residents.
