Tyler Seguin is a Canadian ice hockey professional, who plays as a center for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected second overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and won the prestigious Stanley Cup in his rookie season.
Seguin grew up in Whitby, Ontario, and started playing hockey in a house league at age five or six. In his junior career with the Plymouth Whalers, he won the Red Tilson Trophy as OHL MVP and tied for the 2009–10 Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy.
