Masood Shahrukh Khan is an Indian cricketer who represents Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has also Captained the Lyca Kovai Kings in the 2021 edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).
Born on May 27, 1995, Shahrukh initially played tennis-ball cricket before joining St. Bede's Academy, which has produced stars like Krishnamachari Srikkanr, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Dinesh Karthik in the past.
He made his List-A debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2013-14 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Although he got the chance to step out on the field for Tamil Nadu four years later in 2018.
His domestic career comprises 31 T20 matches, 25 List-A matches, and five first-class appearances.

Playing for Tamil Nadu in the 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Shahrukh Khan drew everyone's attention when he smashed a quickfire 19-ball 40 in the quarter finals. Tamil Nadu went on to win the tournament and after missing out last year, the right-hand batter earned his well deserving spot in the IPL when Punjab Kings signed him for 5.25 crore rupee.

Speaking of his name, the 27 year old saaid, “My mother’s (Lubna Khan) cousins persuaded my parents to name me after Shah Rukh Khan,” Khan said. “I do enjoy his movies as well. But cricket was always my first love. My brother and I would accompany our father to his games as kids. We were fascinated by the sport.”
