Alexander DeBrincat is an American professional ice hockey right winger playing with the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League, as of 2024. He attended Harrison High School in Farmington Hills and later Illinois' Lake Forest Academy to prepare for his further studies in college. DeBrincat was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft as the 39th overall draft pick. He debuted with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2017-2018.

DeBrincat scored his first NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens in October and finished his rookie season with 28 goals and 52 points.
