Dylan Larkin is an American professional ice hockey player who as of January 2025, serves as the captain of the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL. He was selected 15th overall by the Red Wings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Before turning professional, Larkin had a successful collegiate career at the University of Michigan, where he was named Freshman of the Year and earned spots on the All-Freshman Team, All-Big Ten First Team, and Second Team All-American.
Larkin's early hockey journey began with minor ice hockey at Detroit Belle Tire, where he also competed in the 2009 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
