Tim David (Player of the Match for his 62* off 28): I said to Nikki (Nikhil Chaudhary) that I thought I can't hit the ball but I got a bit lucky and then got on a bit of a roll. We knew it was going to be a good batting pitch specially seeing how it played in the first innings. It has been a while since I felt that good out in the middle. That was not supposed to go like that (on the deft four behind point) but since everyone liked it I liked it too. Clicking is the right word for us, we did not want to carry a lot of baggage from the last time. It is the business end of the tournament coming up now

David smashed an unbeaten 62 runs off just 22 deliveries, guiding the Hurricanes to a thrilling victory with 8 balls to spare. Cameron Boyce and Lloyd Pope claimed two wickets each for the Strikers, while Jamie Overton conceded 54 runs from just 3 overs.
The Hurricanes' win marked their fourth consecutive victory, propelling them to third place in the standings.
