Jonnu Andre Smith is an American football tight end for the Miami Dolphins as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tennessee Titans selected him with the 100th overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In his first season, Smith caught 18 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Smith had an MCL injury that ended his 2018 campaign, but he still finished the year with three touchdowns and 20 catches for 258 yards. Smith has 35 catches for 439 yards and three touchdowns at the end of the 2019 campaign. Throughout the 2020 season, he made 14 starts. Smith committed to a four-year contract with the New England Patriots in 2021. In his second season with the Patriots, Smith caught 27 passes for 245 yards along with one interception. Smith was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2023 for a 2023 seventh-round draft pick. Following his release by the Falcons in February 2024, Smith inked a contract with the Miami Dolphins.
