The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place across the length and breadth of the Caribbean islands and the United States of America between June 02-29m
Each team will play a total of four Group matches in this 20-team event. The top two from each of the four groups will advance to the Super-8 stage, where eight teams will be split into two groups.
The top two teams from each group will move to the knockout stage. The semi-finals will take place on June 27, followed by the summit clash in Barbados on June 29.
The 2014 T20 World Cup Champions Sri Lanka will look to put on a better show after disappointing displays at recent ICC events.
Sri Lanka T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
Sri Lanka have been drawn alongside South Africa, Bangladesh, Nepal, and The Netherlands in Group D at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
The Asian Lions will open their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against the mighty Proteas on June 03 in New York. The Lankans will then travel to Dallas for yet another crucial fixture against arch-rivals Bangladesh on June 07.
Their final two fixtures will take place in Lauderhill and Gros Islet, St. Lucia against Nepal and The Netherlands on June 11 and 16 respectively.
