The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place across the length and breadth of the Caribbean islands and the United States of America between June 02-29.
The 20-team event will see five teams divided in four different groups. The best two teams from each group will participate for the Super-Eight, where eight teams will be divided into two groups of four each.
The top-two sides from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The summit clash will take place at Bridgetown, Barbados, on June 29, 2024.

The South African Men's Cricket Team will participate in the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2023 between June 02-29.
The Proteas have been drawn alongside Nepal, the Netherlands, Bangladesh and former world champions, Sri Lanka, in Group D.
The African nation will open its campaign against the Sri Lankans on June 03 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
The Proteas will lock horns with arch-nemessis The Netherlands on June 08 and against Bangladesh on June 10 at the same venue.
Their final league match will take place against Nepal at Arnos Vale Ground in St. Vincent on June 15, 2024.
South Africa will play their first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Sri Lanka on June 3. The game will be hosted by the Citi Field in New York at 8:30 PM IST (11:00 AM Local Time).

South Africa T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was announced a few days ago. The Proteas have been placed in Group D of the first round, with the other countries in their group being former champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal.
