The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place across the length and breadth of the Caribbean islands and the United States of America between June 02-29.
Each team will play a total of four Group matches in this 20-team event. The top two from each of the four groups will advance to the Super-8 stage, where eight teams will be split into two groups.
The top two teams from each group will move to the knockout stage. The semi-finals will take place on June 27, followed by the summit clash in Barbados on June 29.
The Asian Tigers will look for a better showing this summer following a disappointing display in Australia two years ago. They have been drawn in Group D along with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and The Netherlands.
Bangladesh T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
The Asian Tigers will open their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with a mouth-watering clash against bitter-rivals Sri Lanka on June 07 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
The Men in Green will then travel to the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York to lock horns with a power packed South African team. The match will take place on June 10.
Bangladesh will then head to St. Vincent for their final group fixture against The Netherlands (on June 13) and Nepal (on June 16).

Bangladesh T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was declared on June 5, with the Bangladesh team being placed in Group D alongside Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands and Nepal.
According to the T20 World Cup 2024 schedule, Bangladesh will play two group matches in USA and the other two group matches in West Indies. The match against Sri Lanka will take place in Dallas, while the match against South Africa will be hosted by New York.
Kingstown of West Indies will play host to the other two group stage matches of Bangladesh, where they will lock horns with Associate nations Nepal and Netherlands.
