The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place across the length and breadth of the Caribbean islands and the United States of America between June 02-29m
Each team will play a total of four Group matches in this 20-team event. The top two from each of the four groups will advance to the Super-8 stage, where eight teams will be split into two groups.
The top two teams from each group will move to the knockout stage. The semi-finals will take place on June 27, followed by the summit clash in Barbados on June 29.
Co-hosts West Indies will kickstart their campaign against Papua New Guinea on June 05.
West Indies T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
Two-time ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions and co-hosts of the upcoming event, the West Indies will look to make a hat-trick of World Cups on home soil in the summer of 2024.
The former champions have been drawn in Group C, alongside New Zealand, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea.
The Men in Maroon will open their campaign against PNG in Guyana on June 05, before locking horns with Uganda at the same venue on June 09.
The co-hosts will then travel to the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad to take on the Kiwis on June 13 in what is expected to be a humdinger of an encounter. Their final match will take place against Giant Killers Afghanistan, who defeated them in the 2016 event, in St. Lucia on June 18

West Indies T20 World Cup 2024 schedule for the group round is out now. The co-hosts of the mega event will play four group stage matches against Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Uganda and Afghanistan.
West Indies will start as the favorites to win against PNG and Uganda, but they will have to play their best to defeat New Zealand on June 8 and then Afghanistan on June 17.
West Indies T20 World Cup 2024 schedule will be further updated if the Men in Maroon qualify for the Super 8s round. For that, the West Indies team will have to finish in the Top 2 of the Group C points table.
