Los Angeles Rams Roster

The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Greater Los Angeles area, California, competing in the NFC’s West division in the NFL. Heading into year four of the Stafford-McVay era, Rams would be eager to bag one more Lombardi trophy, before Stafford hangs up his boots. Even in the twilight of his career, Stafford showed last season why he was still one of the best quarterbacks in the league when he led a Los Angeles Rams roster, which consisted of 14 rookies, all the way into the postseason. However, it would be intriguing to see how the Rams respond in 2024, as one of the greatest defensive players of all time, Aaron Donald, retired in the offseason.
Stafford would be once again slinging the ball entering his sixteenth year in the league, with Stetson Bennett as the backup due to Garoppolo’s first two-game suspension for violating the policy of performance enhancing drugs. The 2023 breakout star Kyren Williams will be spearheading the running back room, while rookie Blake Corum and Ronnie Rivers see to it that Williams does not run on fumes. Cooper Kupp and last year’s rookie sensation Puka Nacua form an amazing 1-2 punch at the wide receiver position, with Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell rounding out the top four. The tight end group which will see Tyler Higbee start the season on the PUP list is a very thin room. Newly signed Jonah Jackson, along with Kevin Dotson and Steve Avila, give the Rams a solid foundation in the interior of their offensive line.
The defensive line which saw the departure of future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald in the interior, will have to hope that their young core of Kobie Turner, Bobby Brown III and Byron Young take the next step, while rookies Braden Fiske and Jared Verse hit the ground running. Ernest Jones, who set career-high single season stats in various defensive metrics last season, got traded to Titans, which leaves Christian Rozeboom to lead the linebacker unit. The Rams, who finished 20th in passing defense (via FOX Sports), severely needed to add some talent on their secondary and they did just that by adding Darious Williams and Tre’Davious White to their DB room. However, they hope that their new signee, Kamren Curl, offsets the loss of Jordan Fuller at the safety position. Joshua Karty, Ethan Evans and Alex Ward are set in stone as special teams.
The offensive wizard, Sean McVay, who has two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win under his belt, will be entering his 8th season as the head coach of the Rams. The major subtraction on the coaching staff came in the form of Raheem Morris, who accepted the head coaching gig for the Falcons and Chris Shula was promoted to replace him as the defensive coordinator.
