Theodore Joseph Johnson, popularly known as Theo Johnson, is a tight end who played for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Johnson attended Holy Names High School. Coming out of high school, Johnson was rated a four-star recruit who committed to Penn State over schools like Michigan, Alabama, Georgia and a few others.

Johnson could only appear in eight games in his freshman season. As a sophomore, he had 19 receptions for 213 yards and one touchdown in 13 games. Johnson put up career-high numbers in the 2023 season with 34 receptions for 341 yards.

Johnson was invited to the 2024 NFL Combine. He managed to impress a few scouts as he ranked third in terms of athleticism score and fourth for the total score among TEs. Johnson had a prospect grade of 6.15 being rated with a potential to become a starter.
